Ever felt the urge to just break something? Now there are more options than ever to blow off some steam and have a bit of fun with Project Break.
In January, the smashingly good venue launched a “first-of-its-kind” Mobile Smash Room AND has just announced the Project Break Warehouse is relocating to a big new venue at Dry Creek, equipped for even more axe-throwing and plate smashing fun.
That’s right! If your boss is being a jerk or your have a group of teens needing to release some anger and make a mess somewhere other than the living room, Project Break is a fun and safe place to break stuff or throw axes – it’s even therapeutic for parents too.
The only smash room in Adelaide, Project Break currently has a warehouse in Para Hills West, which has been fitted out with specially designed ‘smash rooms’, large enough for a serious swing at your pre-selection of dinnerware, glassware and ceramics.
It will be smashing as usual at Para Hills, until the new Dry Creek venue opens, which owner Jordan anticipates will be towards the end of July.
The new concrete warehouse which is four times the size of the current venue, will have double the amount of smash rooms and he hinted towards another new team-building exercise in the pipeline…but that’s all he was giving away!
As for the Mobile Smash Room – the uniquely decked-out removal truck has been doing the rounds across town, with a lot of corporate businesses taking up the opportunity for “team building exercises”.
The mobile Smash Room works just the same as the bricks and mortar venue, with participants fitted out with safety gear before they chose their weapon of choice. Baseball bat? Sledgehammer? Its up to you how you want to destroy the breakables in your 15 minutes of destruction.
Groups of 10 or more can make a booking to have the Mobile Smash Room roll up on their doorstep, and the cost is $40 per person. It suits larger groups and events, including Corporate, Buck’s and Hen’s Parties, Birthday Parties, or even if you just want cathartic release, get some friends together to smash it out with Project Break. It’s sure to leave you smiling.
