Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the CBD this Fringe season? Just 10 minutes from the city you’ll find the vibrant City of Prospect hosting their fifth annual Prospect Fringe!
This February and March you can enjoy a range of events across Prospect Council venues, outdoor spaces, and local businesses.
Mayor Matt Larwood shared “I’m thrilled to present our fifth annual Prospect Fringe program featuring a variety of unique shows and events in venues across City of Prospect”
“Prospect presents an attractive Fringe precinct being positioned close to the city, with excellent local restaurants on Prospect Road to start your Fringe journey. I am delighted to commence the year on such a positive note with an engaging and vibrant Prospect Fringe program and trust you will find a show to entertain you and the family,” said Mayor Larwood.
There’s plenty to look forward to, with just a few highlights including the 30th Year celebration of Prospect’s Twilight Sessions, the Prospect Road Autumn Fair, a Bob Dylan and Neil Young Tribute Show presented by Club5082, and Clang an exhibition by local artist Bill Oakley. The program has something for the whole family to enjoy. From music and cabaret to theatre and workshops, and even kids and family activities, everyone is sure to be entertained.
With the bustling dining and shopping precinct on Prospect Road at the centre of the celebrations, it’s the perfect place to enjoy dinner before seeing cabaret sensation Beating up the Beatles, grab a coffee on your way to a Let’s Batik workshop, or have a drink after singing along to Crowdchant Classic Bangers.
“Prospect continues its celebrated history of producing and supporting arts and artists, culture and events with this fantastic boutique 2025 program,” said Mayor Larwood.
The Prospect Fringe is an extra special program that shines a spotlight on the talented artists who are a part of the program. By providing discounts and subsidies they are making Fringe more accessible for both the artists and the community.
Mayor Larwood said “The 2025 Prospect Fringe program supports artists, creatives and local businesses featuring more than 20 events and shows at local venues in February and March. Several shows will be held at City of Prospect’s state-of-the-art Payinthi building, along with many more at local businesses along Prospect Road and in Prospect Memorial Gardens with family favourite Twilight Sessions entering its 30th year running!”
As one of Adelaide’s most lively suburbs, Prospect is sure to put on a fantastic showcase of events this festival season.
