Proximity Butterfly will be bringing their cutting-edge rock and psychedelia to Adelaide. Established in 2003 by Joshua C. Love (America), Chenduxi (China) and Heather Judson (Canada), the band currently consists of guitarist/vocalist/producer Joshua C. Love, bassist/vocalist Heather Love, guitarist Robert Tanner, and drummer Wang Yong.
The bands complex and original mix of rock riffs, psychadelic ambiance and jazz time signatures have earned them high praise, with comparisons to established bands Pink Floyd, Janes Addiction, The Mars Volta and Sigur Ros well in tow.
Proximity Butterfly will be playing local Adelaide hotspot Rocket Bar this Saturday, January 14, with special guests These Wild Animals, Irie Knights and The Monster Society of Evil.
Doors open from 9:00pm, $10 entry at the door.
