Pullman Hotel to host Adelaide’s first non-alcoholic bottomless brunch for WellFest

The three-course brunch, curated by Executive Chef Francis Luzinier, will be accompanied with Polka’s non-alcoholic sparkling and Davidson Plum rose.

Pullman Hotel is launching Adelaide’s first non-alcoholic bottomless brunch this month, offering a lighter, healthier brunch experience for those of us looking to ditch the booze. The SA-first is a part of WellFest – a city-wide festival endeavouring to shine a light on Adelaide as an emerging destination for health and wellness.

If you’re a fan of bottomless brunches, this one promises to have all the benefits without the downsides. Say goodbye to headaches, hidden calories, and the Uber bill at the end of a day filled with one-too-many mimosas. Instead, say hello to an event that is inclusive of those looking to avoid alcohol and allows you to drive home at the end of it. Sounds like a win-win to us!

The star of the show will be the delightful range of South Australian (de-alc) wines produced by Riverland-based company, Polka. Using cutting-edge de-alcoholising equipment, Polka selects premium vintage varieties rich in flavour and texture that maintain their integrity after the natural de-alc process.

Pullman guests will be greeted with a glass of Polka Sparkling white on arrival, which represents the accumulation of 12 months of research and the blending of 11 white wine varietals. Tantalising the palate with notes of native Lilly Pilly, the sparkling is a dry, full-flavoured drop that may surprise and delight the most selective of wine connoisseurs.

The bubbles will keep on flowing as you and your besties enjoy gourmet canapes and a specially made three-course brunch, curated by Pullman’s Executive Chef, Francis Luzinier.

As you soak in the Pullman’s balcony views which stretch across to the Adelaide Hills, you will also be sample Polka’s newest sparkling rose. The naturally tart drop features flavours of the native botanical Davidson Plum, receiving rave reviews for being “refreshing”, “not too sweet”, and perfect for a warm sunny day.

Throughout the three-course brunch, Polka Founder Ben Mellows will also host a mixology class, where guests will be able to try their hands at making their very own Polka mocktail.

Pullman Hotel’s non-alcoholic bottomless brunch joins a slew of recent non-alcoholic initiatives across Adelaide which silence that age-old “Why aren’t you drinking?” question.

In September, Adelaide welcomed its first non-alcoholic bottle shop, ANA Drinks, which operates as a central hub for Adelaide’s local, non-alc wines, beers, and spirits.
