RAA members can now save 10c per litre on fuel – here’s how to claim it

Starting November 12, RAA members can save 10 cents per litre at over 46 locations in South Australia.

South Australians are set to save big at the pump, with RAA launching a new 10 cent per litre discount for its 834,000+ members across the state. From Tuesday 12 November, the expanded RAA Rewards offer will be available at more than 46 fuel outlets, including 22 in regional SA.

The deal means members can now access discounted fuel at all 29 Caltex sites, as well as a growing network of regional locations — helping ease cost-of-living pressures for households right across the state.

RAA Chief Executive Officer Nick Reade said expanding the rewards program was all about giving more value back to members.

“As a membership organisation, returning value to members is an absolute priority and why we launched our new RAA Rewards Program last year,” Mr Reade said. “Last financial year, RAA members saved more than $43 million through loyalty discounts and the RAA Rewards Program.”

Since March, RAA’s previous 6 cent per litre Caltex discount has already helped more than 107,000 members save over $1 million. With the new 10 cent offer, even greater savings are on the way.

The benefits aren’t just for petrol and diesel drivers, either. Electric vehicle owners can also plug into savings, with RAA members receiving 10% off charging at any of the organisation’s 144 RAA Charge network locations across South Australia.

Mr Reade said cost-of-living concerns are top of mind for many South Australians, and RAA’s expanded fuel discount aims to make a real difference.

“We speak to our members constantly about the challenges they’re facing – and cost-of-living pressures are almost always at the top of the list,” he said. “A 10 cent per litre discount is a big saving at the bowser and is sure to help motorists, particularly those who do a lot of driving and are vulnerable to the cost of fuel.”

The new discount is available at all Caltex locations and a range of regional outlets spanning the Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, South East and other key areas, with more to be added soon.

“Our previous 6 cent per litre offer has helped 107,000 members save over $1 million since it launched earlier this year,” Mr Reade said. “With 834,000 members, that means more than 700,000 members haven’t tapped into our fuel discount yet, and we’ll be encouraging them to jump on the RAA website or app so they can save every time they fill up.”

To redeem the offer, members simply scan their RAA membership card at the checkout. The discount can be used once per day and is available while the offer lasts.
