Style, sophistication and glamour will be front of mind when Thoroughbred Racing SA launches its ‘Eden’ marquee – the first luxury marquee for South Australian racegoers – at the Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup on Sunday, February 17.
Custom-designed to deliver glamour to SA Racing, the marquee will provide racegoers with a high-end, decadent atmosphere to mingle and enjoy racing at its best.
Promising an experience that will tantalise the senses with fresh flowers and lawn, day beds and some of South Australia’s most impressive food and wine, ‘Eden’ will feature diverse and unique entertainment to complement the action on the track.
Thoroughbred Racing SA Marketing Manager Jane Wellington said ‘Eden’ would offer a new dimension to some of South Australia’s key racing events.
“We’re expecting ‘Eden’ to become the place to be seen at South Australian race meetings, bringing a new level of sophistication and luxury that we’ve never seen before at the races in South Australia,” Jane said.
“Partnering with Advantage SA’s BUY SA campaign, we are proud to showcase the best South Australian chefs, produce and wines in the marquee which will feature at a number of race meetings each year – adding to its exclusivity.”
Eden guests will enjoy premium quality food and wine throughout the day in a cocktail setting conducive to mingling and taking in the racing atmosphere.
The inaugural ‘Eden’ marquee at the Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup will boast an array of local delicacies by Andrew Fielke – the internationally acclaimed, award-winning chef.
