Yes, you read that headline correctly.

Violet Crumble fondue is a thing, and we’re obsessed.

The fondue consists of very simple ingredients: a Violet Crumble Easter egg, cream, hot cross buns (preferably FruChoc-flavoured buns), and a sweet tooth because this snack is sugary to the max.

And the best part? The whole fondue only takes three minutes to make.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 x 110g Violet Crumble Easter Egg
  • 40ml thickened cream
  • 2 hot cross buns (FruChoc ones recommended if you want a chocolate overload)

And here’s what you do:

  1. Shatter Violet Crumble Egg into pieces in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Heat cream to almost boiling and pour over shattered egg pieces.
  3. Stir and continue to melt in the microwave in 20 second bursts, stirring after each burst.
  4. Pour into a serving bowl, top with shattered Violet Crumble.
  5. Use slices of warmed or toasted hot cross buns to dip into the fondue.

And voila! You have the perfect Violet Crumble fondue to share with friends and family over the Easter holiday.
