As part of Rundle Mall’s Rundle @ Home initiative, the Mall has collaborated with vegan emporium Two-Bit Villains to create two exclusive decadent milkshake recipes for you to recreate the magic of one of Rundle Mall’s most popular venues at home.
The perfect way to indulge for your last night of lockdown, Two-Bit Villains and Rundle @ Home have released the recipe for their mouth-watering Banana Chai Shake, featuring the creamy hero flavours of banana and vanilla, couples with a kick of spiced chai.
You will need:
1 banana (frozen works best)
2/4 cups of your choice of milk
1 decent scoop of vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup of Two-Bit Villains Chai Syrup
2 tsp vanilla essence
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon sugar to finish off this epic shake and decadent lockdown treat.
Two-Bit Villains has long been delighting plant-based and non-vegan patrons with its vintage-inspired soda bar offerings, catering to a whole host of dietary requirements including those who are gluten free, lactose intolerant or follow vegan or vegetarian diets.
Throughout lockdown Two-Bit Villains is open for curb-side pickup and delivery and will be opening at reduced capacity on Wednesday following the announcement this morning that South Australia’s lockdown will be lifted at midnight.
Rundle Mall’s missing us as much as we’re missing them, so they’ve launched Rundle Mall @ Home, which brings us the best of Rundle Mall to help us stay connected from the comfort and safety of our own homes during the lockdown and restrictions.
The initiative includes other recipes for another Two-Bit Villains milkshake, collaborations with Australia’s Violet Crumble and Menz FruChocs, a Pigeon colouring in sheet, information on how to shop safely in the Mall and a guide to which stores are open.
