Enjoy free wine tasting at the Adelaide Central Market on Friday night with a number of the Adelaide Hills’ hottest wineries set to showcase a range of heart-warming red wines from 6pm.
As part of the Market’s newest event ‘Winter Reds’, wineries including Shaw and Smith, The Pawn, The Lane Vineyard, Nova Vita and Nepenthe will offer free wine tastings of cool-climate red varietals and a range of new vintage releases over a variety of dates.
Lord Mayor Michael Harbison said Winter Reds is a fantastic new event for wine lovers to indulge in.
“The Adelaide Central Market is the perfect place to go on a cold winter’s night. With live jazz music from local groups and red wine from some of the state’s best winemakers, the Market will have a unique atmosphere.
Two of Adelaide’s favourite jazz acts, George Grifas Duo and Luke Thomson Duo, will fill the Market with smooth sounds while the Market’s Marino Meats will provide mouth-watering Saltbush Lamb tastings for everyone to enjoy.
Friday’s event is part of the Winter Reds festival, which runs for the month of July.
The Winter Reds event will be held at the Adelaide Central Market Friday 9 July from 6pm – 8pm.
