While the West End Redbacks are currently in South Africa for the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 tournament, the remaining members of the squad in Australia are travelled to Maroochydore this morning.
A squad of 13 will fly out of Adelaide today to take part in a tri series tournament against New South Wales and Tasmania.
The Redbacks will play three matches in the Sunshine Coast in further preparation for the domestic season.
The squad is:
James Smith (Captain), Aiden Blizzard, Tom Brinsley, Rob Cassell, Michael Cranmer, Craig Dand, Timothy Davey, Joel Davies, Michael Delaney, Ben Dougall, Ben Edmondson, Thomas Moffat, and Kane Richardson.
The West End Redbacks schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, 22 September – Redbacks v NSW (Maroochydoore, new 45 over format)
Friday, 24 September – Redbacks v Tasmania (Maroochydoore, new 45 over format)
26-27 September – Redbacks v Tasmania (Brisbane Grammar, two-day tour game)
