It’s no secret what an incredible spot the Adelaide Hills wine region is, and it’s also no secret that wonderful events occur there.
Crush and Winter Reds come to mind, and now there’s a new festival smack bang in the middle of the two.
The event is called Chardonnay May, and as you can probably guess, it’s set to showcase the region’s famous chardonnay.
Stunning Lenswood winery Anderson Hill is thrilled to be involved in Chardonnay May, and is throwing an ’80s themed party to celebrate.
Chardonnay exploded in Australia in the ’80s when shoulder pads, big hair, high waistlines and big flavours were in fashion and Anderson Hill wants to pay homage to this era.
Anderson Hill is also going full ’80s with the food. Think anything on a toothpick, pineapple hedgehogs, and a whole lot more.
Guests can also expect dance competitions, and of course, the opportunity to try some of Anderson Hill’s amazing chardonnay.
