Reunion Festival returns with Groove Terminator and HMC

Reunion Festival is set to return to Morphettville, with a stacked lineup of hometown DJs and top-ranked Aussie electronic acts.

Adelaide’s dance floors may have changed over the years, but one festival is keeping the city’s clubbing spirit alive. Reunion Festival is back in 2026, celebrating the DJs and MCs who soundtracked the golden era of Adelaide’s nightlife.

Last year’s festival saw 6,500 fans, and this year’s lineup brings out acts that were recently named in the 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time. It’s fair to say Reunion Festival’s 2026 fixture is going to be massive.

Returning to the Morphettville on Saturday 17 January 2026, the festival amps up with four stages and a lineup that celebrates the DJs and MCs that shaped Adelaide’s old-school club scene.

DJ and event organiser Souli Tsiolis said, “Reunion is a celebration of Adelaide’s club scene, the time when Adelaide had a vibrant scene, you could go out any night of the week. From large clubs to the smaller intimate clubs, all the DJs provided the soundtrack of that era.”

The 2025 edition saw thousands of dance-ready people descend on Morphettville for the festival’s inaugural fixture. Created by Adelaide DJs John Morley, Souli, Audioporn and Rmac, the festival paid tribute to South Australia’s dance culture and struck a chord with crowds.

Headlining this year are HMC, delivering both a Techno and Classic House set, and the incomparable DJ Groove Terminator, master of the classics. Both artists were recently listed among Rolling Stone’s 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time in July, at number 17 and number 23 respectively.

They’ll be joined by Adrian Zac, AJ, Andy J, Angu$, Audioporn, BOF, Brendon, Capital D, Devious, D Lux, Driller, DV8, Ezee G, FBI, GTB, Jaki J, Josh, Jules, Justice, Kontrol, Lisa D, Madness, Maestro D, Mischief, MR S, Noddy, NRG, Patch, Paul Marshman, Professor X, Rmac, Sarez, Souli, Thomas V, Tim and Young Jeeky.

The festival will span genres including House, RnB, Trance, Big Room Club, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Hard Dance, and 90s Rave Anthems.

Souli said, “One song can bring back a thousand memories. Reunion Festival is like one big family reunion, our clubbing family. You can’t experience that anymore in the SA club scene.”

Upgrades are planned across the board for 2026. Organisers have confirmed enhanced sound and lighting, a larger RnB room, heaps of food stalls, more bars scattered around the venue and a dedicated merch stand.

With its stacked lineup, upgraded production, and a crowd ready to relive the glory days, Reunion Festival 2026 is set to be one for the history books.
