Revamped Cafe Settebello in Golden Grove is coming in hot to Adelaide’s breakfast scene with its epic new $19.90 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet!
Available exclusively from 8am until 11am on Saturdays and Sundays, its new buffet-style offering has already made a hugely positive impact since its launch last weekend. With a menu packed with breakfast favourites like bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, jams, toast, and more, what’s not to love? The Italian cafe even features a pancake machine, where, at the push of a button, pancakes come out the other end effortlessly.
Owner Rami Michael is enthusiastic about bringing the beloved buffet experience that’s hearty and affordable back to local eateries and values the family dining experience.
“Buffets have all but disappeared since Covid, and they are no longer around anymore. It’s hard to find restaurants offering buffets anymore unless you were to go to a hotel,” says Rami.
“We wanted to bring back that experience for everyday local customers”
With the rising cost of living, the breakfast buffet will be a budget-friendly way for families to enjoy dining out affordably once more.
“The breakfast buffet menu is much cheaper than a typical breakfast outing, and I think that excites people. Even fast-food restaurants no longer offer a good breakfast for under $20.”
Rami took over the venue at the end of last year, hoping to breathe new life into the venue. The Golden Grove restaurant had been struggling to get clientele and was experiencing some poor Google reviews.
“Verona had started to go downhill and we came in to rescue it, I suppose you could say,” shared Rami back in November.
Rami values the experience of going out to eat and hopes visitors will take the family out to visit and experience their delicious and affordable buffet breakfast.
Bookings are currently filling up fast and Rami encourages customers to call the cafe directly or book online for the best chance of securing a spot and not missing out on this new breakfast experience. With a strong sense of affordability and community, Cafe Settebello’s all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is set to become a weekend favourite.
