REVIEW collaborates with David Bromley for Spring Summer collection

The partnership, the first for both the brand and artist, will feature a series of Bromley’s iconic prints splashed across REVIEW’s signature silhouettes.

Australian brand REVIEW will launch a limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories for Spring Summer, designed in collaboration with celebrated Melbourne-based artist David Bromley.

The partnership, the first of its kind for both the brand and the artist, will feature a series of Bromley’s iconic prints splashed across silhouettes that have become signature trademarks for REVIEW.

Featuring 60 distinct pieces spanning dresses, tops, skirts, fully fashioned knitwear, shoes and accessories, REVIEW’s design team identified the artistic elements David is best known for and transformed them into styles and fabrications that are synonymous with the brand.

The design process was organic and creative, with David and Yuge Bromley, and the REVIEW team working collaboratively to sift through the pieces in the Bromley archive suitable for transformation into fashion prints and fabrics.

David also created artworks bespoke to the collaboration, including never-before-seen floral, butterfly and fruit designs.

“I’ve always been so interested in and involved with fashion, as I believe that there is such a transformative quality to getting dressed up,” says Bromley.

“This collaboration with REVIEW, which exudes I think, a feminine, playful and yet striking take on my artwork has been a delight to watch unfold.”

“As the brand’s design DNA has melded with the unique paintings I’ve created for them through the pieces that form part of this collection, I’m excited to see them take on their next journey being worn and enjoyed as pieces of wearable art.”

The 35-year-old brand has engaged Former Miss Universe Australia, Olivia Molly Rogers to spearhead the campaign. A passionate fashion enthusiast, mental health advocate, presenter and artist.

“I’ve admired REVIEW for many years, their gorgeous floral prints and signature feminine shapes are just lovely and I am thrilled to be working with two Melbourne brands whom I have always admired.”

“After such a challenging year, I look forward to stepping out again with friends and family with a colour palette that feels optimistic and injects some much-needed vibrance back into our lives’’ says Rogers.

Clare Hurley, General Manager of REVIEW, is delighted at how the collaboration across artist, brand and talent evolved.

“David’s artwork unearths flowing fabrications, bold prints, brilliant hues and flattering silhouettes to herald in the warmer months ahead,” says Hurley.

“For me, this collection is a fun breath of fresh air and transcends the go-to wardrobe choices we’ve been making over the past few months. The bold prints, filled with fruits, butterflies and contemporary florals can’t help but make you smile and we’re so excited to launch this collection to customers,” continues Hurley.

Founded in 1985, REVIEW has built a strong and loyal customer base, making women look and feel their best. Taking inspiration from the 1950’s fit and flare aesthetic, REVIEW remains a truly design-led brand, offering a unique, vintage-inspired and feminine selection.

The range launched exclusively online last night and will be available REVIEW boutiques, MYER concessions and The Iconic from today.

This collection is the first of a series of bespoke collections between REVIEW and David Bromley.
