Review: Day One At The Clipsal 500 Race Cage

On Thursday a few of the Glam Adelaide team headed off to spend the first day of the Clipsal 500 Adelaide in the new Race Cage!

Now lets be honest, we all know the Clipsal 500 isn't know for being the most glamorous event in Adelaide and having never been to the race before (how unAdelaidian of me) I was not sure what to expect.

However as soon as I arrived it was more than clear that the Race Cage is bringing the class back to Clipsal!

Kelly Noble, Glam's Managing Director, summed it up when she described the pavilion as a 'palace in the sky'.

We spent the day overlooking the track, sipping Totino sparkling and nibbling on delicious food.

If you're like me and enjoy the finer things in life (or just want a great view of the race track) this is the way to do Clipsal.

It was definitely the best location on the track to watch the race and go for a bit of a wander from.

The Race Cage pavilion is the first of its kind in the world. Located right on the Hairpin, this new facility offers the best in design, entertainment and food and beverage over all four days.

The Race Cage is located on the driver’s left between turns 13 and 14. It is one of the most desired locations on the track as you can view Pit Entry (where the cars enter the track).

The Race Cage is two stories high with glass panels at the front to provide full views of all the action.

Glam Adelaide will be covering the Clipsal 500 Race Cage over the full four days this year so follow our tweets @GlamAdelaide

Start planning Clipsal 2013 now and don't miss out on spending some time in the amazing Race Cage!
