Review: Joel Creasey in Naked – Feast Festival 2012

Presented by Feast & More Comedy
Reviewed Thursday 22nd November 2012

When you go to see Joel Creasey there’s one thing to keep in mind; don’t blink. Every second there’s a new one liner, extension to a gag, or facial expression, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out on a single one of them. His rapid-fire delivery and breadth of topics will leave you breathless and aching from laughter as he goes on a furiously fast trip through childhood fears and adult sensibilities.

Creasey has camp bitchy humour in excess, tempered with charm and incredible wit and observation. Throwaway references abound as he bounds across the stage, whirling from Meryl Streep and Serena Williams, to Zena and Harry Potter, Club Med and Lego.

I think it will be a long time before I forget his Anne Frank Soliloquies, death game and shark attack fun.

In this production Joel Creasey is naked, and funny with it.
