An annual tradition in the Riverland region of South Australia, the newly rebranded Riverlation Wine and Food Festival 2021 is the answer to all your fine wine and food desires.

From the 22 to 24 of October, multiple events across the Riverland will showcase the best of what local producers have to offer, all coming under the Riverlation banner.

Proudly hosted by Riverland Wine, there’ll be a range of venues and cellar doors on the list, including Ricca Terra, Top Block Wines, 919 Wines and more, all putting on a show of great food, wine and entertainment across the three days.

A degustation dinner will kick off the festival on Friday night, taking place at the Riverland Wine Centre in Lyrup. It will feature top wines from the 2021 Riverland Wine Show, paired with the finest local produce, all whilst sitting under the stars on the banks of the Pike River.

Across the weekend, local cellar doors and venues will then host their own events, sharing great wine and food, while an array of musicians and artists keep event-goers entertained.

Ricca Terra Farms will host their own ‘Festa Del Vino’ over the weekend as part of the festival, putting on a seminar, wine show, pop-up cellar door and party for their visitors, with food by Lefty’s Greek Street Eatz and live music on show.

The Riverland Wine Centre will become a buzzing hub of food, wine, music, art and culture, with producers providing the complete sensory experience.

Previously known as the Riverland Wine and Food Festival, Riverlation is a highlight on the South Australian events calendar that attracts locals from around the state and country each year.

A new event format was launched last year following the ongoing struggles from the pandemic, with event organisers determined for the show to continue. The new structure resulted in the program extending across three days, offering a more diverse experience for visitors.

Now in 2021, the festival has undergone a facelift, ensuring the community will be able to put their best foot forward in what is sure to be a stand-out event.
