There are plenty of opportunities to get your Rock’n’Roll on at this year’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Rock gods and goddesses set to step foot on our stage include Hayley Mary (The Jezabels) and Henry Wagons in 27 Club (pictured), a celebration of the music of Hendrix, Morrison, Cobain, Winehouse and Joplin.
It doesn’t stop there. The era of Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Howlin’ Wolf and others is brought to life in Sun Rising – The Songs that made Memphis, a show paying homage to the timeless music released by Sun Records in the early 1950s. Added to the line up are Alan Brough (Spicks and Specks) and Casey Bennetto (Keating! The Musical) with a fast-paced parody of all things rock and roll in The Narelles.
