Izla’s Purple Crusade have come together with Rosenvale Vineyards and South Australian Artist, Greer Tappert to create a limited edition wine to raise funds for the charity that supports those with epilepsy.

The wine that has been created in collaboration with Rosenvale is a special 70 dozen production of Rosenvale Mataro 2019 that will see $100 of every 6 pack sold going directly to Izla’s Purple Crusade, a fundraising arm for Epilepsy SA. The wine itself has been grown and produced on the vineyard located in the Barossa Valley.

The gorgeous label that wraps the Rosenvale bottle was specially designed by South Australian artist Greer Tappert who has previously worked with the esteemed vineyard on artworks.

The label represents the letting go of nine extremely challenging years prior to seizure control, with butterflies (Izla’s favourite) symbolising her ability to spread her wings and take on the world.

Priced at $160 for a six pack, the 2019 Mataro by Rosenvale is available for free delivery for half dozen and full dozen orders in Metropolitan Adelaide.

Diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy that can cause up to 500 seizures a day, Izla trialed many different medications before defying all odds in 2011 and walking after being told she never would again.

From this amazing show of courage and strength, Izla’s Purple Crusade was born to create education, awareness, understanding and fundraising for epilepsy.

Purchase the fundraising wine for yourself on the Rosenvale website, here.

Rosenvale Vineyards is located at 467 Research Rd, Nuriootpa SA 5355.
