Royal Adelaide Show Countdown Starts With Tickets On Sale Today

The Royal Adelaide Show is back for another year for a two-week family-friendly experience.

The countdown has begun until the Royal Adelaide Show is back for another great year of fun and entertainment as tickets have now become available to purchase.

With the Royal Show being only five weeks away, it is the perfect time to start planning your trip and pre-purchasing tickets to save up to 10% off gate prices.

Not only are entry tickets on sale, there are family packs and ride passes also available so the kids can sort out what adrenaline-pumping rides they will attempt this year.

Royal Show manager Michelle Hocking said “Our Family Value Pack has become very popular as it’s a great way for families to experience the Show. For $155, it includes Show entry for four people, food and drink vouchers, two Showbag vouchers, $40 of BankSA discount ride coupons and parking at Mile End, with free shuttle-bus transfers to and from the Show.”

“You can buy 100 coupons for $80 or 40 coupons for $35. Each coupon has a face value of $1 and can be redeemed at any ride,” said Michelle.

Pre-purchasing tickets might be worthwhile as the Royal Show promises to be bigger and better this year as they will be running for 10 days and spread across two full weekends.

A selection of acts can be expected at the Royal Show, with family favourites such as Peppa Pig and Family, Nickelodeon Shimmer & Shine and Angry Birds headlining the midday entertainment on the Goyder Stage Monday to Thursday.

For families with younger children or those who aren’t attracted to intense rides, a Safari Zoo Adventure located in the Kids’ Corner will be on offer. Featuring appearances from Alex the Lion from DreamWorks Madagascar and Skipper from DreamWorks Penguins of Madagascar, the kids will definitely have a blast seeing their favourite characters in the flesh.

The Show will also be celebrating a number of key milestones, including 50 years of the Ferris Wheel, 90 years of the CWA and 100 years of the Angus Society of Australia, which is the feature breed for beef cattle this year.

You can expect to see popular competitions, exhibitions, great food, carnival attractions, showbags and fireworks from August 30 to September 8, 2019.

Tickets can be purchased at any IGA or Foodland supermarket, or alternatively, online at Ticketek. More information can be found at www.theshow.com.au.
