Royal Croquet Club Spill The Beans On What’s In Store Plus The NEW Addition

The Royal Croquet Club is back bigger and better than ever! Here’s a teaser of what’s to come.

Buckle up! Mad March is on the horizon and in true fashion, the Royal Croquet Club will be kicking off the summer celebrations from 16 February – 19 March 2017. But after three years of partying in Victoria Square, the pop-up Fringe hub will now be returning to their original stomping grounds alongside the River Torrens (near Adelaide Oval) with a TOP SECRET NEON FORREST in store.

One thing the RCC guys know how to do pretty damn well is how to constantly reinvigorate themselves. No year has been the same. But this year is seriously sure to take the cake. We’re promised a brand spanking new space, brand new food and drink offerings PLUS a whole new area… bar… event. Who’s to say.

Event Director, Stuart Duckworth revealed all but the name and just enough to tease our hungry souls. 2017 will be the first year that the Neon Forrest, a late night playground at RCC, is introduced.

Make of that what you will folks… we sure have.

Duckworth, says the move to the Torrens is actually pretty awesome, “It’s kind of like we’re going home. The Riverbank has always been on of our favourite places in Adelaide and when we set out to start RCC over three years ago it was all about reactivating the precinct”.

“Moving the venue to Pinky Flat means we have a lot more room to breathe. We’re able to throw out the rule book, start fresh and ultimately provide an even bigger and better experience for the artists and punters.”

The Fringe program is also set to be pretty special and in comparison the music line up is apparently pretty epic.

The guys from RCC are coming off the back of a hugely successful first stint at Bondi Beach and their second year in Melbourne. There’s no doubt this year is set to be larger than life!

Th RCC official opening date will coincide with the Fringe opening on Friday 17 February 2017. But you lucky punters are invited for an RCC preview on Thursday 16th.

Anyone for croquet?
