RSPCA SA Has Opened A Brand New Op Shop

With existing shops at Kidman Park, Blackwood, Brighton, Warradale, Semaphore, Marden, Prosepct and Sefton Park, Ridgehaven is a welcome addition, with the store having officially opened its doors.

Adelaide bargain hunters be-warned, the RSCPA has opened up its ninth op-shop in Ridgehaven, as of October 17.

With existing shops at Kidman Park, Blackwood, Brighton, Warradale, Semaphore, Marden, Prosepct and Sefton Park, Ridgehaven is a welcome addition with the stores having officially opened its doors.

The continuing expansion of the RSPCA’s South Australia’s op shop network is proving to be a resounding success in the caring of vulnerable animals, with Commercial Operations Manager Ben Dawson outlining, ‘all proceeds made at our op shops going straight to caring for more than 8,000 vulnerable animals who need our help each year.’

Not only that, RSPCA’s entities are totally funded by community donations and proceeds from the charity’s social enterprises, including op-shops.

Dawson details, ‘our animal rescue and care is vital but it’s also costly, last year we spent just over $5 million caring for animals in need (providing) extensive rehabilitation and veterinary care before they are well enough to rehome.’

Open seven days a week, be sure to travel down to Ridgehaven to support this truly wonderful cause. After all, ‘it’s a win for animals and the environment.’

You can find the Ridgehaven RSPCA Op-shop at Shop A2 1149-1155 North East Road.
