RSPCA seeks owner of injured dog found in Crafers West

The two-year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback cross was brought to the O’Halloran Hill animal care centre on Sunday.

The RSPCA is appealing for the public’s help to find the owner of a dog discovered injured in Crafers West. The two-year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback cross was brought to the O’Halloran Hill animal care centre on Sunday.

Despite having an injured front paw and not being desexed or microchipped, the RSPCA’s veterinary team is optimistic about the dog’s full recovery. He was spotted wandering in Crafers West for ten days before finally being caught with the help of an RSPCA volunteer and a local resident.

The friendly and gentle dog, driven by hunger, willingly entered the rescue van when lured with roast chicken. If you have any information that could help reunite this dog with its owner, please contact the RSPCA immediately.
