Ciaran Gribbon from INXS will be performing at a special once-in-a-lifetime fundraising event on Saturday July 26 at the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank building.
This one-off event aims to raise $40,000 with all proceeds going to the Little Heroes Foundation, and supports Adelaide business woman Melina Lipkiewicz (National Assessment Manager at Randstad) who is running in this year’s New York Marathon.
Lipkiewicz, mother of two, is heroically running in the world’s largest and most popular marathon in November to raise awareness for The Little Heroes Foundation. The funds raised will help thousand of seriously ill children and their families afford essential equipment and services. Little Heroes has raised more than $13 million dollars for lifesaving facilities at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and provides daily support to families around Australia through their Little Heroes Care program.
The cabaret event will offer a selection of canapes by Lloyd Cremer (Executive Chef at The Hilton Adelaide), and a selection of fine South Australian wines and beverages.
“Ciaran is a good family friend and he’s agreed to perform live at this exclusive night which will offer an unforgettable performance from one Australia’s most beloved entertainers, all for a great cause,” Lipkiewicz said.
The ‘Run for Life with Ciaran Gribbin from INXS’ will be held on 26 July, from 8pm, at the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank building overlooking the city lights of Adelaide. Only two hundred tickets are available and can be purchased here.
