Rundle Mall set to host Adelaide’s biggest Black Friday spectacle with 16 hours of shopping

Rundle Mall is hosting a huge Black Friday event with midnight trading on Friday, and a concierge service with bag drop, chauffer buggy rides and a pop-up wine bar.

Black Friday’s nearly here and this year there’s no better place than Rundle Mall to indulge in some retail therapy and snap up some bargains.

Rundle Mall is offering an unparalleled shopping experience for the Black Friday extravaganza, with midnight trading on Friday, and a concierge service with bag drop, chauffer buggy rides and a pop-up wine bar.

With 16 hours of continuous shopping on Friday 24 November from 8am-midnight, followed by 9am to 5pm across the weekend, city shoppers are expected to drop more than $25 million snapping up items on big discounts, in what is the biggest sales event of the year.

Andrew White, the Adelaide Economic Development Agency’s Executive Manager Rundle Mall, is enthusiastic about what’s in store for shoppers this Black Friday.

“Many stores will open at 8am and Rundle Mall will be the only South Australian retail precinct to open until midnight on Friday,” Andrew says.

“Early birds can be among the first to snap up the bargains, or you can stay in the city for a knock-off drink or come in for dinner and shop till you drop late into the night.

“We expect shoppers to take full advantage of late night trading, with Black Friday last year as busy at 11pm as it was at 11am.

“All signs are pointing to a bumper weekend of shopping with massive discounts across all categories. It’s a great opportunity to start ticking items off your Christmas shopping list and stretch your budget further.”

Rundle Mall’s Black Friday event will feature discounts ranging from 20 to a staggering 50 percent across fashion, homewares, electrical goods, and more right across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Shopping aside, the highlight of Rundle Mall’s Black Friday experience is the return of the Rundle Mall Concierge, located in Gawler Place. Offering a premium shopping experience that’s open for all to enjoy, the Rundle Mall Concierge includes a free bag drop service where shoppers can safely leave their purchases, freeing up more hands for shopping!

Meanwhile, Black Friday Valet service will be available to whisk shoppers from store to store or back to their parked cars within the precinct on the back of a chauffeur driven golf buggy, adding a touch of luxury to the shopping spree.

The icing on the cake for shoppers is the Mall’s Pit Stop Bar, providing a well-deserved break during the shopping marathon under the Gawler Place Canopy. Operated by Mollydooker Wines, this pop-up bar provides the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a drink before diving back into the shopping frenzy.

The first 100 shoppers to utilise the Rundle Mall Concierge’s bag drop service each day will receive a complimentary drink from the Pit Stop Bar, while the bar will be open 11am to 11.30pm on Friday, and 11am to 5pm on the weekend.

Rundle Mall boasts an impressive line-up of the biggest and best brands you’ll find anywhere in Adelaide, including exclusive flagship stores like UNIQLO, H&M, Sephora, and perennial favourites like JD Sports, rebel, Nike, Dymocks, MECCA, R.M.Williams, and Glue Store, among others.

With its unparalleled shopping experience, big discounts, and extended opening hours, Rundle Mall is the ultimate destination for Black Friday shopping in Adelaide.
