Sunday marked the final day of The 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival and the Norwood Place Parades on The Parade (of course). The street was closed for the day and instead filled with all things fashion and fun for all, including the Norwood Fashion Markets, a high tea, live entertainment and parades.
The Norwood Fashion Market featured over 60 stalls of fashion, accessories and crafts. Adelaide’s boutiques, vintage and homewares were snapped up by the keen crowds from 10am. The SA Designers’ Hub displayed local designers’ summer collections that have been featured throughout The Adelaide Fashion Festival events. Shoppers could get their hands on labels like Scott and Scarce, Millicent Elizabeth, Greta Kate, casper&pearl and Chelsea Eve.
Throughout the afternoon these styles and many more hit the catwalk in the fashion parades that stretched along a giant outdoor catwalk. The parades showcased summer fashion from retailers on The Parade, as well as local designers. Catwalk-side high tea was served within the stylishly decked out setting. Not to mention the freebies, including the ever-popular Krispy Kreme’s, and local Moo yoghurt, that were enjoyed by all.
Rain, hail or shine, the day was a delight and the sun shone through to see the end and wrap up The 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival.
