We’re always on the hunt for a new place to sit down, relax and enjoy a coffee, and the addition of the rustic coffee nook at this Adelaide Hills nursery favourite is the perfect excuse to head for the hills.
Nestled within the gorgeous and lush Karkoo Nursery Oakbank – their second location to their already buzzing Blackwood site – is a small yet tasteful space featuring leather couches, exposed timber bannisters and some festoon lighting for ambience.
The new area at the beloved plant haven is the perfect space to chill out with coffee and food from the nursery’s onsite cafe with a number of unique homewares, gifts and of course…plants galore!
The new location sees Karkoo planting its roots in the historic Johnston Brewery in the heart of the Adelaide Hills’ Oakbank and bringing the public their same incredible range of plants and even live music on occasion.
The second location comes after the local council has discussed selling the original site to redevelop it as part of a $12 million initiative for the area, but Karkoo has since been able to lock themselves down there until later next year.
The new shop features a number classic and more eye-catching pots, alongside an amazing selection of gifts, homewares and garden art and even an on-site barista to get your coffee fix while you shop.
