Calling all beef and booze fans! Pirate Life is teaming up with Rymill Coonawarra to deliver a mouth-watering wagyu-filled dinner from Mayura Station this October. What could be better than this collaboration between three of SA’s outstanding producers?

The intimate dinner, aptly named wine+beer+beef, will be hosted at the Rymill Coonawarra cellar door on October 14, serving up an array of delicious wagyu dishes, fine wine and craft beer all night long.

Guiding you through the four-course spectacular will be Mayura Station’s head chef, Mark Wright, Australia’s most experienced wagyu master. Each meal will be perfectly paired with a wine from Rymill Coonawarra and a beer from Pirate Life.

Tickets cost $170, with an optional $20 return ticket from Glenroy. The intimate dinner will host approximately 80 people, so get in quick to secure your seat at the table.

“We’ve worked with Mark for a long time and he’s always put on something special for us,” says Rymill Coonawarra assistant manager Jamie McDonald.

“It’s certainly unique for us to be hosting alongside a brewery, and this is the first time in a long time that we are dragging the city to us as well.”

“It’s really an opportunity to give everyone a great night, and an excuse to tie in an event with some of our mates at Pirate Life and Myaura and give the season a bit of a kick-off.”

A sneak-peak of the menu shows three premium cuts of wagyu featuring in Wright’s creations, each enhanced by native Australian and international flavours. As for wine, the Zabuton waygu will be matched with Rymill’s youthful and well-textured ’19 Shiraz, the cherry smoked Bavette cut will be paired with the winery’s 2010 bold Surveyor Cabernet and the Rump Cap will be matched a juicy ’18 Rymill Sandstone Cabernet.

For dessert, satisfy your sweet tooth with a yuzu cheesecake, paired with a delicate glass of ’17 Rymill Brut. As for beers, Pirate Life will release their seasonal line-up closer to the date.

There’s no better way to wine and dine than with premium produce from the very best in SA.

Rymill Coonawarra, Pirate Life and Mayura Station will host wine+beer+beef on October 14 2021.
