Music SA are pleased to announce its continued partnership with the Clipsal 500 Adelaide to present Bands On Track 2015 – a showcase of great SA music over three nights as part of the 2015 Clipsal 500 Adelaide Concert Series, 26 February – 1 March 2015.

PJ Murton, Acting Managing Director Music SA said “We’re delighted to be partnering with Clipsal 500 Adelaide to deliver the Bands On Track project for a fourth year. The Bands On Track partnership provides the opportunity for great South Australian acts to earn a paid performance sharing the Clipsal 500 Concert Stage with some of Australia’s best live acts. Six South Australian artists will be chosen to perform on the Clipsal 500 Adelaide Concert Stage in 2015.

Two South Australian acts will be selected to open for Cold Chisel with Spiderbait and 100 Proof on Sunday 1 March 2015.

Two South Australian acts will be selected to open for THE ZEP BOYS and celebrated rocker John ‘Swanee’ Swan on Saturday 28 February 2015.

Two South Australian acts will be selected to open for Stafford Brothers, Havana Brown, Timmy Trumpet and Ruby Rose on Friday 27 February 2015.

A group of music industry professionals have been chosen to work with Music SA to select the six SA bands. SA bands wishing to perform can apply online now here.

Music SA advised they expect to receive quite a few submissions, and urge bands to take the time to make a professional and well thought out application.
