Ragazzi e Succo, a small-batch artisanal Aperitivo company based in Adelaide, has won the ‘Best Aperitif’ Trophy and a double gold medal for its signature Aperitivo at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024.
Founded with a focus on flavour, Ragazzi e Succo is a unique alternative to traditional Italian aperitifs, while still capturing familiar taste profiles. Tom Hoff, the founder, brings over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where his expertise in balancing flavours has shaped his journey in creating Ragazzi e Succo.
The award-winning Aperitivo features a blend of organic citrus fruits, local herbs and roots, and classic Italian amaro botanicals. It’s distilled with grape spirit, steeped for an extended period, and mixed to create a distinctive flavour profile, perfect for enjoying as a classic aperitivo or in cocktails. Tom enjoys it with lemon juice and tonic water, garnished with a slice of pink grapefruit.
