Australian televisions night of nights saw stars of the screen flock to the Gold Coast in celebration of achievements in entertainment. And while that’s all well and good we’re here for one thing and one thing only. The fashion.

As the celebrities made their way down the red carpet, we at Glam Adelaide were proud as punch to see a few of our favourite local designers once again creating some showstopping pieces for the special night.

As always, Paul Vasileff’s design was a crowd favourite with his stunning Paolo Sebastian creation for stylist Lana Wilkinson. As the style ambassador for The Logie’s, Lana gave Paul the honour of crafting her gown which is a huge testament to the luxury label to be trusted with such a task.

The white, Grecian gown was styled perfectly with diamond jewels and slicked-back hair – a trend that appeared quite prominently on this year’s red carpet. The ‘clean girl look’ has taken over social media in the past few months and appears to be filtering heavily into our everyday lives.

Donning the front of today’s paper, Emma Watkins, more commonly known as The Yellow Wiggle, wore a custom Couture+Love+Madness gown fit for a princess. Baby pink tulle with an embroidered floral design, the hand-cut lace was dressed with glass beads and dotted with Swarovski crystals.

Couture+Love+Madness designer Cristina Tridente was also the chosen designer for Australian TV royalty Georgie Parker who looked absolutely dazzling as she wore a custom two-piece sequin suit.

Neighbours star Charlotte Chimes also chose an SA designer wearing a black two-piece flapper dress by Lexi Clothing and giving off serious Great Gatsby vibes. Katie Robertson of Five Bedrooms also opted for a Lexi design, the sage green gown flowing graciously behind her as she made her way down the red carpet.
