Today’s update takes South Australia to another six day streak of no new cases.

South Australia has recorded another day with no new COVID-19 cases, with only one active case remaining in the state.

One patient remains in hospital but is no longer considered an active case.

The total case number still stands at 439, and SA Pathology has now conduced 72,725 tests.

Today’s update takes South Australia to another six day streak of no new cases.

SA Health is urging people to continue following the measures that will help stop the spread, including practicing good hygiene, keeping 1.5 metres distance from others, and staying at home if you are unwell.

People experiencing any of the following should be tested for COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills (in the absence of an alternative illness that explains these symptoms)
  • An acute respiratory infection e.g. symptoms of cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness ofbreath
  • Loss of smell or the alteration in the sense of taste

Step One of the SA roadmap for easing COVID-19 restrictions is underway.

Stay tuned for updates.
