SA Series “Shooters: Life through the Lens” Premieres Next Week

JethroNew original reality documentary series “Shooters: Life through the Lens” premieres next Tuesday, 15th January at 7.30pm on Channel 44 Digital.

This South Australian made series tracks the daily workings of the YouViewAustralia videographers covering public events, corporate and private commission jobs and independent news items.

In episode one we are introduced to the crew as they film the Junior Masterchef challenge for Camp Quality, meet Zac Efron at a red carpet film premiere (which was filmed for Glam Adelaide), capture the drama of the Burnside Council and Chelsea Cinema debacle and rediscover the works of pioneering Australian filmmakers Edna and Jack Campbell-Dobbie.

The crew is also faced with the challenge of capturing a specific shot from a helicopter at the Baroota 500 Superbuggy championship with just a six minute window to get the shot.

Director, Jethro Heller said “The show gives the audience an insight into what it takes to film these events as well as showcasing the cultural worth of Australian life and its people.”

Amber Cordeaux, Head of Development adds “Channel 44 is pleased to support this new program.  It’s original and is another win for Channel 44 and local television production.”

Produced by Hartwig Heller Productions for online distributor YouViewAustralia.com, “Shooters: Life through the Lens” is a first for self-funded South Australian independent television producers.

“Shooters: Life through the Lens” premieres on Tuesday, January 15th at 7.30pm on Channel 44.
