SA StartUp Scene Goes Global

SouthStart’s fourth annual conference brings together South Australian, interstate and international startups featuring a fantastic array of entrepreneurial speakers.

This year ‘Going Global’ is SouthStart’s theme, as it unites a fantastic array of local, interstate and international speakers for its fourth annual startup conference.

The conference will run across two days, on the 5 and 6 July at the Adelaide Convention Centre. As part of Entrepreneurs Week, over 500 people are expected to attend, which presents the chance to connect with world renowned entrepreneurs, investors, hackers, hustlers, founders and experts.

SouthStart is a conference focusing on technology, innovation and of course startups! Combining an expo and startup competition which aims to connect, educate, inspire, and showcase South Australian startup businesses.

Premier Jay Weatherill is headlined to speak at the event along with other accomplished people in the field. Elaborating the importance of Adelaide’s startups being integral contributors to a strong economy and creating opportunities for exports, investment and jobs for the state.

Such as biomedical engineer, TV presenter and SouthStart keynote speaker Dr Jordan Nguyen who is a big supporter of Australian startups.

Samuel Conway from UK tech startup Zegami, Flavia Tata Nardini from Fleet Space Technologies and Aaron Birkby, Startup Catalyst will also be taking to the stage at SouthStart.
