Our wine contribution to the world well known, and our tourism contribution to Australia is pretty speccy too (thanks a lot to our wine). Which is why it’s always fantastic to hear about South Australian businesses getting recognised on a national stage, a recognition that is happening tonight for St Hugo at the Australian Tourism Awards in Perth!
The Barossa Valley’s own St Hugo has been nominated in the New Tourism Business category at the 2017 Australian Tourism Awards which will be held tonight!

The nomination caps off 18 months of awards and accolades achieved by the home of St Hugo since it first opened its doors in September 2016, The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s ultimate awards recognising excellence in tourism. A wide range of tourism businesses enters their state and territory into the Tourism Awards, and St Hugo was up against intense competition from around Australia, including tourist attractions and hotels.
Since they threw open their much-anticipated doors, St Hugo has had a huge number of wins and nominations including being listed in the top 500 of the Australia Financial Review Restaurant Awards and being finalists in the Advertiser’s Food Award 2016 Best New Restaurant.
