In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, SACA has made the difficult decision to cancel the following end-of-season events: the Dansie McCauley Medal, the Bradman Rolton Medal, the Community Cricket Awards, the National Cricket Inclusion Championships Dinner and the Junior Senior Premier Cricket Presentation Night.
Following advice from government and health authorities, SACA is aiming to protect the health of players, staff, other stakeholders and the public.
While we understand this may be disappointing for all involved, this is a necessary action to take in response to an unprecedented health crisis.
Award winners from all five events will still be announced on the originally scheduled event dates, but through the relevant online channels (listed below).
Thank you to fans, players and other stakeholders for their patience and understanding during this time and congratulations to all award winners named in the coming weeks.
SACA staff will make arrangements to distribute all trophies to recipients following each announcement.
SACA will continue to follow the best advice and protocols from the relevant authorities in relation to future events.
