It’s time to saddle up as Republic hosts an exclusive Melbourne Cup luncheon, Tuesday 4th November 2014.
Republic will be celebrating in full style with exquisite food, prizes and an exciting line-up of entertainment leading up to the big race.
Venue Manager Nathan Lawrence says, “We are looking forward to hosting a fun-filled event where people can enjoy themselves and the vivacious atmosphere that Melbourne Cup Race Day brings.”
For just $49 per person, patrons will be treated to Sidewood Estate bubbles and canapés on arrival, plus a mouth watering three-course meal and dessert.
“We’ve steered away from our traditional rotisserie dishes, and have refined the luncheon to a tasteful, more upmarket menu,” says Nathan Lawrence.
“Guests can chose from the scrumptious roast salmon with vegetables and sauce vierge, grilled beef fillet with dauphanoise potato shallots and red wine jus, or linguini pasta with braised du puy lentils and black cabbage as a vegetarian option.”
Adding the perfect touch of glamour and flair, Republic will host an exclusive fashion parade, flaunting race inspired looks from SA designers and Love Affair Boutique. The designers involved include Casper + Pearl, Chelsea Eve and NaMOI – all of which are showcasing their collections in the 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival.
“The fashion parade will add excitement and colour to our event, and our guests are required to dress to impress, as there will be prizes awarded to those wearing the best race attire,” says Nathan Lawrence.
Republic will also be hosting a silent auction with proceeds being donated to the RSPCA. Sweeps will be available all day with the TV screens broadcasting the race at 2:30pm.
