The official route of the SAHMRI BRIGHT Walk, showcasing some of the dazzling Illuminate installations, has been revealed!
The 21km route starts at Elder Park, before heading towards the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and down North Terrace, marching past an array of light displays set up as part of the Illuminate Adelaide festival.
The track winds through North Adelaide, before stretching down Port Road in a loop that takes walkers into the heart of the CBD, weaving along East Terrace and back to Elder Park to cross the finish line.
Walkers can be treated to rest stops along the way and don’t fret, there are plenty of places around the loop where you can take a break.
SAHMRI has also revealed there will be some surprises along the route so stay tuned for more details!
Every dollar raised will help fund life-saving medical research at SAHMRI, South Australia’s Not-for-profit, health and medical research institute.
There is still time to register and participate in the event and raise funds for life saving medical research.

Welcoming Ceremony: 5pm
Event credentials: Register online before 15 July to receive your pack in the mail. After that date, skip the on event queues and pick up your pack from SAHMRI on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 July.
