Salisbury Fringe Carnival returns with free family fun, rides, food, music and more

The Salisbury Fringe Carnival is set to return, offering two days of free entertainment, live music, and exciting attractions.

If you’re excited about this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival but want to skip the hustle and bustle of the CBD yet still be a part of all the festivities, head along to the Salisbury Fringe Carnival at Carisbrooke Park with a huge weekend of fantastic activities and entertainment.

Running over two days on Friday, February 21st, and Saturday, February 22nd, this free event has been a staple since way back in 2014 and attracts over 15,000 visitors each year.

This year’s Salisbury Fringe Carnival will feature more amusement rides than ever, plus entertainment across two performance areas, including Friday night headliner, Jake Daulby and Saturday night headliner, The Incredibles Band. There will be a silent disco, inflatable attractions, carnival games, a dedicated kids’ zone, and a sensory space available. Sports enthusiasts can also look forward to the Riot City Wrestling Ring, which is sure to be a high-energy display.

All entertainment is free, including rides—making this the perfect family-friendly event. And for those wishing to dine or enjoy a drink, a variety of food vendors will be available alongside a licensed bar area.

“The Salisbury Fringe Carnival continues to grow in size and popularity, and I’m excited to see it at the beautiful Carisbrooke Park again,” shared City of Salisbury Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM.

It’s the perfect way to kick off the year and experience the vibrant energy of our city.”

“Join us for a weekend of free entertainment and community spirit in the City of Salisbury.”

The event features a fantastic lineup, including live music from The Incredibles Band with their popular Queen Tribute Show and Jake Daulby, jaw-dropping acrobatics by international act HEROMACRO, plus performances by Boomstars, Stuntman Jim, fire twirlers, roving entertainers, and fringe-style acts in the Rastelli tent.

“We’re so excited to play at this year’s Salisbury Fringe Carnival! Being our first one, it’s such an honour, and we’re really looking forward to bringing our Queen Tribute Show out north, as we’ve got such an amazing northern fan base,” said Sam Raciti, Lead Singer and Manager of The Incredibles Band.

“Our first set will feature some great party tunes, and then our second set will be the Queen Tribute Show – so there’ll be something for everyone!”
