Sally-Anne Hayward At The Adelaide Fringe

Award winning comedian Sally-Anne Hayward makes her Australian debut with an hour of excellent stand up comedy. She is a hugely sought after act on the UK comedy circuit as well as a regular compere at the Internationally renowned Glastonbury Festival.

Sally-Anne has enjoyed 4 successful Edinburgh Festival shows, performing to rave reviews. "Clever observations and sharp punch lines." **** – Three Weeks. Although her first time performing in Australia, Sally-Anne is no stranger to the international comedy circuit, bringing laughter to three continents.

Sally-Anne's comedic abilities have seen her fare well in the world of television and radio and she has attracted the likes of Jennifer Saunders who cast her in Absolutely Fabulous. Square Donkey Production company enjoyed her Edinburgh sketch show so much they made a pilot of it called, “Why the Long Faces.” Hayward is also an accomplished radio presenter, television writer and tv audience warm up.

In Stewed Apple and Runner Beans, Sally-Anne talks about the minutae of life, including her cat, her boyfriend and her yoga. Sally-Anne is able to mix a butter wouldn't melt in her mouth appearance with an underlying acid wit.
