Salted Café is a gorgeous lakefront eatery offering delicious food with stunning views.
Tucked away on the lakefront at Infinity Waters, Salted Café is a tranquil vista feeding you with a breakfast, lunch and tapas style menu.
Owner Christine Reid opened the café in 2017 after owning Signature A Fusion of Coffee in the city.
“I live locally and I’m a chef by trade myself, so when I saw the space become available I thought it would be perfect for what I was looking for right on the waterfront,” Christine said.
“We are licensed, and we offer modern Australian cuisine with a little bit of Asian as well – it’s quite mixed and quite extensive too.”

While the café is on Christmas break until January 11, their return will see new menu items, as well as classic favourites regulars know and love.
Using locally sourced ingredients, their new menu will feature all day breakfast and brunch with dishes such as bircher muesli, buttermilk pancakes, fried eggs on damper and potato rosti with salmon.
There’s a lunch menu featuring chorizo and halloumi salad, chilli con carne and beef cheese burgers. The new menu offers tapas style dishes perfect for sharing with croquettes, empanadas and lamb koftas.

Christine said Salted Café is dog friendly, where each pup is welcome to enjoy a treat with their owner.
Drawing in a mixed demographic, Salted Café is a licensed venue offering beer on tap, an SA focused wine list and yummy cocktails to enjoy.
“We have a relaxed sophisticated vibe,” Christine said.
“In 2022, we are maybe looking at doing special Friday nights once a month where we might do a wine night or a tasting paired with food.”
“We are looking forward on what’s to come.”
Salted Café is open Tuesday to Sunday and is located at 73/155 Brebner Dr West Lakes 5021.
