Sam Smith to perform intimate 300-person show at d’Arenberg in 2023

British singer-songwriter Sam Smith is coming to SA early next year for a one-night-only show. Here’s how to get tickets.

British superstar Sam Smith will be visiting McLaren Vale’s d’Arenberg Cube in January 2023 to host an intimate outdoor show. The gig will be Smith’s only Australian show on their promotional trip Down Under, and will be the Smith’s first SA visit since 2015.

Smith has told the media that they’re “excited to explore SA” in the summer, where they can check out the stunning beaches and wineries. They said it was their first performance in Australia since 2020, so they can’t wait to share their new music and enjoy the destination.

Smith will be performing their full catalogue of hit, including latest single ‘Unholy’, from the Grammy Award-winning artist’s upcoming album, Gloria.

But how do you get there?! Tickets to the exclusive, 300-person show are only available through national radio competitions on the HIT, Nova and Mix networks, which will begin on Monday 14 November, and on the @SouthAustralia Instagram account in coming weeks.

The unique event has been designed in collaboration with the SA Tourism Commission, which seeks to promote South Australia via Smith’s social media following, reaching 35 million people globally.

Beyond the collab, d’Arenberg has been turning heads on its own accord, recently being named as one of the top 100 wineries in the world, alongside three other South Australian destinations.

The prestigious online awards, simply named World’s Best Vineyards, utilises a voting academy from around the globe, judging wineries on their ‘total experience’ – including vineyard, culinary, wine tasting and tourism offering.

If you do end up being one of the lucky winners to Sam Smith’s concert, it’s a great time to go. d’Arenberg has recently welcomed a couple new sculptures to its art collection and opened a new restaurant, Singapore Circus.

Follow @SouthAustralia on Instagram for exclusive updates on the collaboration, as well as behind the scenes content and a chance to see Sam Smith live at the Cube.
