Following the release of his debut album Doomsday Deluxe in June, and the successful Super Visual Apocalypse Tour across numerous sold out shows this year (including a standout performance at Splendour in the Grass 2012), Sampology has announced the release of the second single, 'Around the Globe’ featuring Serocee, and a 14 date Australasian DJ tour in October and November.
'Around the Globe' features the vocals of reggae and dancehall don Serocee. In the radio version and club mix, there's a clear jungle/drum and bass influence with a distinctly modern take in its high energy.
A great selection of 'Around the Globe' remixes will be released with the single, including alternate versions helmed by Dan Aux, Spenda C, a dark and moody dub mix from Sydney duo Wordlife and a Fela Kuti sampled mix from Berlin based Scratch 22. 'Around the Globe’ featuring Serocee is out on October 19. Sampology will play at The Proj3cts on Thursday, October 25.
