Christies Beach favourite, SandBAR has said they’ll be applying to operate again this summer, aiming to bring back as array of local craft beers, wines and spirits plus live music to the Esplanade.
The SandBAR, over the 27 days of summer, presents six breweries in one prime beachside location. Last summer, they served up some of the finest local craft beer, wine, cider & cocktails in combination with delicious food and live performances, all whilst embracing the beautiful Christies Beach foreshore.
Locals and visitors alike are excited at the prospect of a come-back from the popular hot-spot that’ll see many flock back to experience summer in the most relaxing and chilled-out way.
The SandBAR is a collaboration of two amazing local businesses, one of which is Tap It Party Hire, who’ve been nominated for ‘Best Customer Service Experience’ in the Hallett Cove Business Association Awards. The other is TJS Events, who’ve been a premier event management company in Adelaide for many years.
SandBAR plan to apply with the Onkaparinga Council to re-open for the 2021-22 season and will be getting in their applications as soon as they’re open, for a much awaited return to Christies Beach.
Located at the corner of the Esplanade & Beach Road, Christies Beach, it’ll showcase local producers in a raw demonstration of locals supporting locals. In addition to select local craft beers, there’s cider, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks available, with food trucks to help tame the hunger.
A return this summer, will make it a sure-fire hit in the warmer months, and we can’t wait for them to open their doors again!
