SAPOL has confirmed police were notified of a stranger seen near school grounds at Henley Beach about 8.30am yesterday morning, and after searching the area, did not locate anyone matching the description provided.
SAPOL has stated no students were approached.
While the behaviour may be suspicious, and police encourage the reporting of suspicious behaviour, SAPOL has found no actual offence took place.
Police had received similar reports of suspicious behaviour at Grange last month, which were investigated, and police found no cause for alarm.
Police are proactively consulting with school officials and have maintained a highly visible presence around the school to further reassure students and parents.
South Australia Police encourage all students, parents and members of the community to be mindful of their safety and remain vigilant whilst attending and leaving school grounds.
Police urge the community to report any suspicious behaviour in or around schools by contacting the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or in an emergency Triple Zero.
