Sarah Shanahan Swoons For Scandi Style On The Parade

In her regular column Sarah Shanahan, our resident interior design expert, takes a closer look at Eccola, a new design and homewares resident on The Parade.

Eccola is the newest homewares stores to hit the parade and yes, I’m in love! This carefully, but perfectly, curated store is a homewares lovers heaven right here in Adelaide.

Eccola was born from many years of travelling the globe collecting unique, quality products,. Thankfully for us, after first running an online store, they decided to also open a bricks and mortar store earlier this year to share with fellow Adelaideans their carefully curated range of simply beautiful products.  Eccola celebrates all things minimalist, simple modern elegance, quality craftsmanship in true Scandinavian style.

You just won’t find these products in any other stores around Adelaide and that’s what I’m most excited about. I’m talking stunning Spanish enamel tableware, so unique, modern and fun. These plates and bowls, easily identifiable by their unique simple dot feature, can easily be mixed and matched and will look stunning on any table this coming Spring!

The ‘block-stdo’ prints celebrate maps and iconic buildings from around the world in true minimalist style, again Spanish designed, ok but I’m still getting a Scandi vibe!! Pick your favourite buildings and cities and you seriously cannot go wrong with these hanging in your home.

The JUST landed stunning glassware from iconic designer Paola Navone is inspired by the designers travels and is based on the practical household products manufactured in America during the Great Depression, gorgeous shades of green, this range is anything but depressing!

Handmade, luxurious, soft natural linens from The Netherlands, just yes! Nothing speaks more of a calm inviting bedroom than gorgeous handmade linen and cushions and accessories. These linen pieces are displayed so beautifully in store, it will be hard to go home without something, go on you deserve it, yes you do!

Congratulations team Eccola, a truly inspiring store! Visit now at 66 The Parade, Norwood.
