SA’s Coopers Brewery is getting behind the Australian music industry as they become the official and exclusive beer sponsor of two major national music festivals. The iconic brewery will sponsor Spilt Milk and Strummingbird music festivals, highlighting its ongoing commitment to live music. With these partnerships, Coopers beers will now be featured at seven major events across five states between October and December.
The highly anticipated Split Milk festival is set to host massive headlining act Kendrick Lamar, and is expecting to attract crowds in excess of 190,000. The festival will tour four major cities, including Perth, Ballarat, Canberra, and the Gold Coast. The festival is renowned for its diverse lineup that covers genres like indie, electronic, hip hop, pop, and rock, and has quickly become one of the fastest-selling festivals in the country.
Strummingbird is a newer addition to the festival circuit, focusing on country music. This year, artists like Jelly Roll and Shaboozey are headlining as they head to Newcastle, Sunshine Coast, and Perth.
At these events, festival-goers will now be able to enjoy Coopers Australian Lager, Coopers Mild Ale, and the newly introduced non-alcoholic option, Coopers Zero.
Coopers’ Managing Director Michael Shearer shared, “Coopers is a long-time supporter of live music, from large scale festivals to front bars right across Australia.
“It’s great to partner with Live Nation again so festival goers at Spilt Milk and Strummingbird can enjoy our finest Australian beer while watching their favourite artists up on stage.”
Aimee Stewart, Head of Brand Partnerships for Live Nation Australia and New Zealand, added, “We are proud to partner with Coopers, a brand which has long been dedicated to supporting live music in Australia. Ahead of an exciting festival period, live music fans across all ages will forever align some of their favourite moments with the Coopers brand, further ingraining their place in music culture.”
Coopers will offer exclusive VIP experiences at both festivals, with more details to be announced closer to the event dates.
