South Australia’s COVID-19 restrictions will ease again as of midnight tomorrow night.

Premier Steven Marshall confirmed “vertical consumption” will be permitted in outdoor areas of licenses premises.

Restrictions will also be eased for private functions with a defined guest list, held at a licensed premise.

Up to 150 people will be able to attend, and vertical consumption and dancing will be allowed.

“We’re very pleased with these two announcements,” said the Premier.

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens also provided an update on the Schoolies activities forecast for the middle and end of November.

The official Schoolies event will not go ahead, and the Police Commissioner commented restrictions will be put in place for short stay accommodation across the state.

More to come.
