Move over Carl Barron and Will Anderson, Australia’s next great comedians are getting ready to take to the stage at the (very) prestigious and funny RAW Comedy National Grand Final at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The bravest and boldest new comedians from around Australia have walked the comedy highwire all the way to the 2018 RAW Comedy National Grand Final! They’ve tested their skill and stamina through heats and semis, ready and raring to put their best foot forward for the final of Australia’s largest national open mic competition.
It’s going to be a bonzer of a night, and SA’s brightest and funniest star, Alex Hall-Evans, will be front and centre making us laugh and thrashing the interstate competition.
The winner of this exhilarating competition (go Alex!!) will land themselves a trip to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
With past competitors including Tom Ballard, Hannah Gadsby, Ronny Chieng, Josh Thomas, Celia Pacquola, Luke McGregor, Demi Lardner and Luke Heggie, you can see that RAW really helps to strike that perfect comedy balance!
