Prospect now houses SA’s Largest Indoor Playground

Funtopia has some of the world’s safest and most technically advanced climbing walls, restaurant quality food and beverages at Mr Spriggin’s Café as well as six private party rooms.

Aptly named Funtopia, Prospect now houses South Australia’s largest indoor playground.

Spanning 1500 square metres and fitted with three age-oriented ‘worlds’ and a cafe, Funtopia Prospect will likely be the biggest succession to all the indoor play centres we frequented as children, but probably way safer and sleeker.

Climbing World

Featuring a massive climbable beanstalk that seems to have erupted from the ground, climbing world is the ‘world’ with the oldest age restriction. Those who have celebrated their fourth birthday can be let loose (with safety briefings included) to climb like the primates they are.

Climb up Jack’s beanstalk, scale brick buildings or climb the 8m pro walls as you are strapped into Funtopia’s autobelays and self-clip devices which are the world’s most advance and do not allow for dis-engagement unless the climber is safely on the ground.

The climbing walls are fully interchangeable and interactive meaning the challenges are regularly altered to test different skills sets and levels.

Playground World

Divided into multiple areas, Playground World has an obvious Aussie theme; explore the Adelaide Central Market, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Great Barrier Reef, and Outback Adventure are the different zones.

Loads of speed slides, obstacles, interactive games, a mirror maze, and a stadium shooting gallery stand out in Playground World. Two years old and plus get to enjoy.

Toddler world

Strapped with the youngest of the brood? Two and under have the entirety of Toddler World to wreak soft havoc in. Focusing on imaginative play, there are Interactive games and obstacles, slides and play equipment, building blocks, and more.

Mr Spriggins Café

Mr Spriggin’s Café is where parents, family members and friends can sit and observe their loved ones whilst indulging in restaurant quality food and beverages. Mr Spriggin’s Naughty and Nice menu has been put together by Executive Chef Stewart Wesson (Whistle and Flute, Part Time Lover and Just Down the Road) and is not what you would expect to find in a venue like Funtopia. There’s a section dedicated to healthy Bowls, kid’s nuggets are house made and popcorn cauliflower can be purchased as a snack. Coffee is by Five Senses and there is a large list of Soft Serve Sundays and delicious beverages.

Alongside kids parties, functions and other programs, Funtopia Prospect is a parent’s newest opportunity for a family outing.
